Kaprun is a small town at the foot of the Kitzsteinhorn glacier. In winter you are guaranteed snow and in summer you can take advantage of the many walking trails or relax beside one of the many beautiful Austrian lakes.

Getting here is easy with many budget flights available to Salzburg, which is  approximately 80km away. Good transport links bring you to the town in around 90 mins.

Zell am See is 6km away which offers additional skiing and also lakeside activities during the summer. Throughout the year there are many traditional festivals which are well worth visiting.

    The Kitzsteinhorn glacier is open throughout the year and has a modern lift service that takes you quickly to 3000m. There are also numerous walking trails and mountain bike tracks that allow you to enjoy the magnificent austrian scenery, and fresh mountain air.
